The service
We provide software that helps people report lost and found items, communicate about returns, and work with centers. We are not a guarantor that an item will be recovered, and we are not a party to private handovers between users unless stated otherwise.
Accounts & accuracy
- Provide accurate information and keep credentials secure
- Only post listings you are authorized to create
- Do not submit fraudulent claims or misleading photos
Acceptable use
You may not use the platform for illegal activity, harassment, spam, scraping, or to distribute malware. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk.
Rewards & meetings
Optional rewards are arranged between users. Meet in safe public places or use verified centers. FindMyStuff is not responsible for disputes over rewards or in-person exchanges.
Intellectual property
The FindMyStuff name, logo, and product design are ours. You retain rights to content you upload and grant us a license to host and display it to operate the service.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
